This video recording is a 2-hour extended version of our “Achieving Equity for LQBTQIA+ People”. During this program, you will be provided an overview of LGBTQIA+ disparities, demographics, and terminology, as well as key strategies for bringing high-quality care and services to LGBTQIA+ people. Participants will also learn about creating LGBTQIA+-inclusive environments of care. Based on Massachusetts laws, we will then focus on legal considerations unique to LGBTQIA+ people.

Mason J. Dunn, JD, (pronouns he/they) is the Deputy Director of Education and Training at the Fenway Institute. Mason serves on the Massachusetts LGBTQ Youth Commission and is a board member of the Equality Federation. They are an adjunct faculty member at the University of New Hampshire at Manchester, in the Communications Department. Mason is the former Executive Director for the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC) and served as the campaign co-chair for the Massachusetts Yes on 3 campaign, the first ever state-wide ballot question on transgender rights in the United States.
